Dr Garth Douglas is a dedicated paediatrician committed to providing high-quality care for children of all ages. As a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (Paediatrics & Child Health), Dr Douglas takes a holistic approach to child health, focusing on both preventative care and the management of a wide range of paediatric conditions.
He has a particular interest in newborn care, faltering growth, developmental delay, asthma, eczema, cough and ADHD. Dr Douglas is passionate about early intervention and supporting families through the challenges of infant care. He helps children meet physical and developmental milestones while managing conditions like ADHD and ASD to improve quality of life.
Dr Douglas grew up in regional Australia, earning his undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics at the University of Sydney before completing his medical degree at the University of Queensland. With over 10 years of experience, he is also an Associate Lecturer at James Cook University, mentoring medical students and contributing to the education of future healthcare professionals.
His broad experience, combined with a compassionate approach, allows Dr Douglas to provide comprehensive, personalised care for a wide range of paediatric health concerns.
